Blogging in 2013

Starting a blog in the latter end of 2013 seems like the equivalent of climbing an ever-growing mountain. Should I even bother? Every blog fanatic has been at it for years and here I am with numerous failed attempts under my belt, attempting to do the down right awkward, embarrassing, frustrating thing of starting another.

So should I? The answer is YES. I've had so many people ask me if I have a website or blog especially since contributing to THIS awesome blog (check it out). Which, really made me sit down and concentrate on something long enough to finish it. My mum has been encouraging me to be a "Starter- Finisher" for the last 6months. So for that reason alone this blog, my "new project" will force me to take each post and see in out to its completion, so my viewers of probably just me so far can see the publish article.

Okay, great Holly but what will your blog be about? Not a darn gon' clue. In honest truth, it will be about everything, I don't want to give it any labels yet because thats what has always put me off starting a website/blog. I've never been good at determine what these things should be about. After all there is so much that makes someone who they are and likewise there is so many interests that make up me and will just need to learn what aspects to share. I think the greatest struggle I've had with blogs, thats always made me apprehensive to share content out into the World Wide Web is the venerability that comes with it. How much of yourself should you bare? And even if you do put it all out their for ridicule and rejection, will anyone even read it? Which is kind of like a greater form of rejection in itself. But I'm saying "to Hell with it all!" To all the doubt and the worries, I'm keeping it out. Like one of my favourite YouTubers said "don't over think it, just do!" so here's me doing. I'm going to need a lot of encouragement guys so leave me a comment, follow, like whatever is thee "thing" to show that you're with me.

Peace, love

Holly

P.S: for your h'enjoyment, here's my petrified "new blogger" face
